Yes the silk cotton from chettinad Handloom is a perfect blend of pure silk yarn with pure cotton yarn on 60(Silk) : 40(cotton) ratio. These sarees are woven with korvai technique where the borders is woven separately and body woven separately with interlocking weaving technique to get the distinct solid colour borders. The body is silk cotton with pure sikk woven korvai border.
