Korvai is a ancient and unique weaving technique where the body is woven separately and borders are woven separately, where the borders are connected to the body with the interlocking woven technique. korvai saree are woven with three separate shuttles one main mother shuttle for weaving the body and two baby shuttles for weaving the borders. These Korvai technique is in verge of extinction.
